This beautiful woman, that I have come to love so, and her family came to visit me and my family last week. I officially met her online a year ago. We had a picnic in the park, laughed, took pictures, and thoroughly enjoyed each others company...we had an amazing time! I miss her already <3

This girl *clears throat*...young lady, is sooo cute and so laid back that I wasn't sure if she was enjoying herself. She is much like my oldest daughter...goes with the flow. Definitely put my creativity to the test, lol. She loves her horse, but "Windy" is the most ornery horse...guess he didn't want his picture take. But no matter how ornery he was, she was SO gentle with him. She rocks!

Hey fans and followers! I have a new look to my blog. I think I have finally settled on something I like, buuuut I have been staring at the screen ALL day, changin this and that, and I can't tell if my header is clear. So I need a good pair of second eyes to let me know if the images in my header are blurry or not. Other than that let me know what yall think. Oh yeah is the picture of me in the "Uniquely Me" section, too much? Honesty, please.

FAB Fathers DAY!

Today was fun! My husband is a great man. The kids and I made him a photo card. Each kid dressed up in my husbands clothes that represented one of my husbands personality traits. It was already funny makin it :). Then I laughed more during the editing processs :D. So today he came home to breafast already made to honor him and the photo card. At first glance he didn't get it, but after looking closer, he BUSTS UP LAUGHING! Which made the rest of us laugh! It was great watching him and capturing his heart <3

Teacher Appreciation

I've never been on a commitee before, so I volunteered to help with the Teacher Appreciation Dinner. I lucked out ...I got to shoot it...FUN! This years theme was "Super Heros". I was expecting to see The Hulk or Superwoman or Batman...NOPE...teachers are creative. There was Captain Underpants, Nacho Libre (luchador), Super Moms, Rebels with a Cause, and Matrix to name a few!

Times seems to be traveling at an insane amount of speed. I remember when my oldest daughter was born. She was purple (because we ALL know that newborns don't have the most beautiful complextion until after a couple days). Then she darkened to this beatiful dark chocolate, like her father. My mom said that if she hadn't been there she never would have believed Destiny was mine. Now, she's 17 and SO READY to experience her own life and make her own decisions. I have one more "mama's in charge" year with her. I'm so proud!

It's great that they get the "DON'T MOVE!" exclamation. They (my kids) used to move and then look at me and say "Why?" "Nevermind, honey, you moved"...lol

We have to find a new home for the dog. I love my dog, but Im having to make a decision between her and my kids. Shes a Lhasa Apso/Pug mix. Her shots are alomst due again. She's 1yr 3mo old. Shes super playful and a little stubborn. She gets along with all kids except mean ones. Her name is Jellybean. Let me know if you know anyone or if you are interested yourself.

BTW, we arent selling her but GIVING her away (to the right famly) :(

It is simply ridiculous how often I DON'T update my blog! Poor neglected blog :(

Well, I do have an update....whoop whoop! I finished my website and bought my first domain name! Ok, for you veterans, don't roll your eyes or pop your lips. This is huge for me cause it's another step out of my box and into pushing myself more. It will be activated in about 3 days and I will post the link.

The Eyes Have It...

Brandon is a kind young man with gorgeous eyes. He came to this shoot without having ever met me before (just emails). He was such fun to be around! Its really great cause he laughed at all my silly jokes (if thats what you want to call em). He is Mr. Athletic and had no problem with any of the places I had him stand/lay/pose. He's a natural and and he rocked it, hands down!

We had a great time! So, I took her in the mountains where we finished her shoot...she is sooo NOT a nature person...LOL. She was hilarious walking through the tall grass...you had to be there! I guess if she comes to visit us again we'll stick to the city...he he.

The Battle of Colorado

So, lemme just say that we had the most amazing time at The Battle for Colorado! I'm not really into live music, so this was a grand experience...not just the music, but being up close to the musicians while they rocked what they Mama gave 'em...LOL. My daughters and my neice accompanied me, which was a blessing because without all their help, I couldn't have done it... thank You Jesus! So with that being said, I am in the process of uploading some action shots from the different bands and soloists. As I add more, I will give ya'll a shout out!! Now, I know it is in the job description to have good customer service skills (even though most people don't now-a-days), but this young lady was soooo sweet. So the tree in the yard finally bloomed some pretty pink flowers. So of course I HAD to take advantage of it. So, I gathered up one of my children and took a few.

So, I am still in the portfolio building stage of my business, I need models. For now, I am actually looking for teenagers ages 13-19. So for all my fellow Coloradans who know of or have teens are interested...give me a ring-a-ding.

Parents must accompany teens under 18 to shoot. A model release form is required as I will be using these images for advertising purposes.
